Our Mission
The Congolese Banking Association (ACB) brings together and represents the financial institutions of the Democratic Republic of Congo. We work to establish a rigorous and evolving regulatory framework while fostering close collaboration among our members.
Through innovation, continuous professional development and transparent communication, the ACB strengthens the stability and credibility of the banking sector to sustainably support the national economy and meet the financial aspirations of the population.
Our Objectives

Representation and Advocacy
Ensure the collective representation of commercial banks before public authorities, regulatory bodies and national and international partners, in order to defend the common interests of the banking sector.

Promoting Cooperation
Foster cooperation and information sharing among member institutions to strengthen the stability and performance of the banking sector, and contribute to financing priority projects essential for economic growth.

African Partnerships
Develop partnerships with African banking associations to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices, and contribute to achieving the ACB’s strategic objectives.

Regulatory Development
Collaborate with regulatory and legislative authorities to participate in the development, revision and implementation of banking regulations adapted to the economic and social context.

Skills Development
Organize training sessions, seminars and workshops designed to strengthen the professional skills of member institution staff and promote excellence in the banking sector.

Awareness and Communication
Promote a positive and responsible image of the banking sector among the public, media and stakeholders, highlighting the role of banks in inclusive economic growth and sustainable development.

Economic, Financial and Technological Monitoring
Provide ongoing monitoring of economic, financial, regulatory and technological developments to inform member institutions and help them anticipate changes in the banking sector.

Mediation and Dispute Resolution
Serve as a mediation and facilitation body for the amicable settlement of disputes between member institutions, within a constructive, impartial framework that respects professional standards.
ACB Events
The Congolese Banking Association organizes and participates in meetings, conferences and institutional activities aimed at strengthening dialogue and consultation between banking sector players, public and private partners.
